We have an outstanding career opportunity in our commercial fuel services division for a Commercial Account Executive. Heavy cold calling and prospecting experience is vital in addition to providing exceptional service and support to existing commercial customers. MUST have previous experience calling on small to mid size businesses and large property management firms. Energy Services, Security System or Property Management Service sales experience is a plus.


Summary:
Candidate will become an expert on our products and solutions and be responsible for establishing new commercial customers in addition to increasing revenue and profitability from our existing business segment. Our sales professionals are dedicated and responsible people that can excel in a fast paced work environment and possess exceptional people and customer service and retention skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Establish effective business relationships with key commercial customers and develop and execute retention plan
  • Develop sales strategies to acquire new customers
  • Make warm and cold sales calls to prospects
  • Travel to prospect accounts to conduct in-person meetings
  • Develop and target new business leads on an ongoing basis
  • Manage existing commercial customer base to maximize profitability and service on each account by periodically evaluating actual profitability versus original performance assumptions
  • Evaluate competitive sales market on a current and future basis
  • Directly responsible for the overall profitable customer growth through sales and retention for the commercial segment
  • Create an effective link between the sales and operations teams
  • Assist in handling and resolving commercial customer inquiries and issues
  • Participate in trade association events

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Associates degree preferred
  • Five to seven years in professional sales capacity
  • Ability to successful engage in business and sell to key customers above the buyer level
  • Excellent sales presentation skills; ability to close sales with leading businesses in our community
  • Strong strategic planning and sales skills in key channels of trade
  • Organized and motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong telephone and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Salesforce, use of internet and automated prospect management systems preferred.
  • Ability to design and implement sales strategies that support overall company strategy
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet the company's motor vehicle policy
