Summary: To provide Strategic Marketing leadership to the Custom Culinary® teams and ensure brand & portfolio alignment across North America to enable sustainable and profitable growth aligned with our Purpose Driven Strategy and Aspirations. To establish the Custom Culinary® brand in Canada and provide Marketing support to the Custom Culinary® team in Canada.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
NA Custom Culinary® Strategy & Alignment:
Lead the development of a regionally aligned brand positioning and product portfolio across the region, collaborating with other Custom Culinary® Marketing Managers in USA and Mexico.
Collaborate with Custom Culinary USA Head of Marketing to develop an integrated long-term brand and portfolio strategy to enable our 2030 LRP aspirations for Custom Culinary® across North America, considering the three different business realities.
Identifies long-term growth opportunities and masters multi-market strategy to deliver optimum financial performance for Custom Culinary in Griffith foods North America through
Leveraging Griffith foods Market intelligence and industry experience to develop growth strategies for product categories, market segments and geographic areas
Translating the strategy into marketing plans with measurable business goals and metrics
Participate in business reviews of 3 Custom Culinary Business units and lead the Custom Culinary business review for Canada
Uses strategic pricing tools to understand how changes in the model will impact the customer and the company
Partners with product and applications development and research to pursue most viable opportunities
Defines the positioning of Custom Culinary® subbrands and portfolio in NA to maximize sales and profitability
Leads development and execution of communications and brand strategies for Custom Culinary® in Canada:
Direct responsibility to manage the Custom Culinary® brand, portfolio and strategy in Canada and provide relevant commercial support to the commercial team.
Translates business objectives to actionable differentiated marketing &communication campaigns
Provides the Custom Culinary® Commercial Team in Canada with the right tools and communication to drive the positioning of Custom Culinary® to Customers and Prospects
Identifies brand centric, content marketing strategies to create differentiated messaging for promotional activities including digital channels, product launch campaigns and customer events
Measures return on investment for omni-channel Marketing Communications initiatives and effectiveness
Responsible for the budget development and revenue for Custom Culinary® in partnership with Sales, Marketing, R&D and Finance
Analyzes Custom Culinary® business performance to define initiatives to improve profitability and sales growth
Identifies unsuccessful Custom Culinary® products and defines the right approach to improve profitability. Leads the process to define and execute exit strategies for products when needed
Assembles and synthetizes data from various sources to provide value-added insights to the commercial team
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
10 years of professional experience in Management, Marketing or Business role.
Strategic experience at a food company, ideally in Category Management, Marketing, Innovation, Product Development.
Experience in Business-to-Business business development in a Foodservice supplier organization and clear understanding on how to create and deliver value propositions to Foodservice Customers.
Highly skilled in use of Power BI, Dashboards, CRM, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other commonly used computer programs.
Fluent in English.
Willingness to travel 20%.
