Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Management Analyst with expertise in computer software, particularly Microsoft 365 Apps, SharePoint, and DocuSign. In this role, you will review, audit, and analyze position descriptions, convert data between electronic formats, and support our statewide like-position repository in SharePoint. You will work closely with our classification team and HR management to support regulatory changes and special projects. Confidentiality and adherence to state policies are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Position Description Analysis: Review, audit, and analyze position descriptions, transferring data from one electronic format to another and uploading them into our designated repository portal.
- Repository Maintenance: Assist the classification team in maintaining and updating the statewide like-position repository in SharePoint in compliance with mandated regulatory and policy changes.
- Research & Analysis: Support HR management with special projects by conducting extensive research and data analysis, identifying issues, and recommending solutions and alternative practices.
- Policy Interpretation: Interpret and communicate applicable statutes, rules, policies, and procedures.
- Data Management: Utilize a variety of analysis tools and methodologies for effective data collection and review.
- Collaboration: Work independently and collaboratively with teams to plan, coordinate, and organize assignments and projects.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft 365 Apps.
- Skilled in using SharePoint and DocuSign.
- Strong analytical skills, with an ability to review documents for detailed information.
- Ability to perform thorough research, data collection, and analysis.
- Effective communication skills, both in interpreting and conveying statutes, rules, policies, and procedures.
- Experience with the State Florida personnel system and relevant statutes and rules, preferably with knowledge of classification processes.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating strong organizational and planning skills.
