Griffon Aerospace, a leader in the exciting Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) industry, is seeking a talented Electrical Engineering Manager to lead and support electrical design, development, and integration efforts across our UAS programs. Griffon is seeking a hands-on technical leader who can actively contribute to engineering tasks while guiding and managing the team

DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Experience in U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) manned and / or unmanned aviation programs is highly desired.
5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering leadership, specifically in aerospace design, manufacturing, and operations.
Proven ability to lead teams in the design, development, testing, and integration of electrical systems for complex aerospace applications.
Expertise in power systems, avionics, sensors, and embedded systems, including experience with hardware / software integration.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing across functional groups, including providing technical input for proposals, processes, and procedures.
Capture and document design decisions, test results, and risks / issues related to electrical systems. Participate in design reviews, Material and Manufacturing reviews, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues in a disciplined and collaborative manner.
Familiarity with AS 9100D / ISO 9001-2015 quality standards and compliance with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) regulations and requirements.
Experience with electrical system modeling, analysis, and simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB / Simulink).
Ability to conduct design audits, risk analysis, and process planning to improve productivity and ensure product reliability.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Equivalent experience in lieu of education will be considered.

15 years of electrical engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.

System integration experience, including the ability to coordinate and validate the interaction of electrical systems with mechanical and software components.

Knowledge of grounding, bonding, and shielding principles and their application in aerospace electrical systems.

Knowledge of electrical design standards, including MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461, and IPC standards for aerospace applications.

Extensive knowledge of connectors, harnesses, soldering, over braid, and related electrical hardware is highly desired.

Experience managing schedules, coordinating with procurement teams to ensure component availability, and supporting production and fielding efforts.

Ability to lift 30 pounds and maintain physical agility. Occasional travel required (less than 15%).
