- Ensure proper identification of patients and specimens prior to collection.
- Process specimens for laboratory testing, adhering to laboratory procedures.
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to prevent contamination.
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary during the collection process.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing patient concerns and ensuring comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and processing in compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow within the laboratory environment.
