Summary
Reporting to the Global Indirect Procurement Category Manager for MRO & Equipment - The Category Manager for MRO is responsible for implementing and developing the strategy jointly with Category Leaders. This role involves controlling and coordinating the daily activities of the category team to ensure the fulfillment of tactical and operational objectives.
Primary responsibilities for role :
- Implement the category strategy
- Coordinate daily activities of the category team.
- Ensure fulfillment of tactical and operational objectives.
- Monitor category performance and report to the Category Leader.
- Identify and address operational issues promptly.
- Manage category budgets and financial performance.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Engage with suppliers to negotiate terms and improve procurement processes.
