About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Center Medical Specialist to join our team at one of our plasma donation centers. As a Center Medical Specialist, you will be responsible for performing physical examinations and establishing medical histories to determine donor suitability. You will also build rapport with donors, ensure their confidentiality, and provide education on general health and potential hazards.
The ideal candidate will be educated and certified/licensed in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT. Current CPR certification is required. The position involves standing and sitting for up to 2-4 hours per day, frequent hand movement, and occasional lifting of 15lbs. Color perception/discrimination, near vision, and far vision correctable to 20/30 and 20/100 in each eye are essential.
