Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must be educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Licensed Vocation Nurse.
Current CPR certification is also required.
You will be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand, listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences, and work independently and within guidance of oral or written instructions.
This role requires frequent hand movement, ability to make precise coordinated movements, and light lifting of 15lbs. with a maximum lift of 50lbs. You must be able to hear and see correctly, with color perception/discrimination, near vision, and far vision correctable in one eye to 20/30 and to 20/100 in the other eye.
Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms, electrical office and laboratory equipment, and extreme cold below 32 degrees F while performing functions in plasma freezers may occur.
