This position requires a licensed practical nurse who is educated and certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements. The ideal candidate will have CPR certification and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing quality patient care in a plasma donation setting.
- Conducting physical examinations and managing donor health and safety.
- Building rapport with donors and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring donor and staff confidentiality.
The candidate will also be responsible for providing donor education, evaluating and managing donor injuries and adverse events, and performing evaluations of any history of illness or medications to ensure continued donor suitability.
