A Medical Professional is wanted for a Plasma Donation Center. The role involves building rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction, selecting suitable plasmapheresis donors through physical examinations and medical histories, ensuring donor and staff confidentiality, and providing donor education regarding general health assessments completed and potential hazards. Additionally, the Medical Professional will evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events, perform evaluations of any history of illness or medications to ensure continued donor suitability, and assist in employee training and coaching regarding medical SOPs as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as an Advanced EMT, Paramedic, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocation Nurse, or Registered Nurse. Current CPR certification is required.
