What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plasma Donation Center Healthcare Role position at Grifols?
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors. Your responsibilities will include:
• Performing physical examinations and establishing donor medical history to determine donor suitability
• Building rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction
• Ensuring donor and staff confidentiality
• Providing education and counseling to donors regarding their health, and providing counseling regarding unacceptable test results
• Evaluating & managing donor injuries and adverse events
• Performing evaluations of any history of illness or medications to ensure continued donor suitability
• Assisting in employee training
• Administering employee Hepatitis Vaccine program
