About the Job
In this role as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will play a critical part in ensuring the health and safety of donors at one of our plasma donation centers. As a medical specialist, you will conduct physical examinations to determine donor suitability, establish accurate medical histories, and evaluate potential hazards.
You will also be responsible for building rapport with donors, fostering an overall positive customer experience. Confidentiality is paramount, and you will ensure that all donor information remains secure. In addition, you will provide education on general health topics and counsel donors on unacceptable test results.
Donor injuries and adverse events require prompt evaluation and management by you, as well as assistance in employee training and the administration of the Hepatitis Vaccine program. With your expertise, we can enhance the lives of millions of people worldwide.
