Here at Grigg’s Ace Hardware, our cashiers exemplify the foundation of our service to each customer as they enter and leave the store. Candidates well suited for our Cashier role are customer-focused, have a friendly and approachable personality, enjoy working as part of a team, and can remain motivated when completing repetitive tasks.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greet customers entering the store and thank customers for shopping in our store.
- Clear customer checkout lines quickly and efficiently.
- Answer and monitor all calls and pages promptly, courteously, and effectively.
- Communicate any problem or issue that requires management assistance.
- Continually build product knowledge base and possess the ability to assist customers with store layout and product location.
- Assist in pricing, stocking, marking, and bagging of merchandise.
- Learn and exemplify the Helpful Ready policy of Grigg’s/ACE Hardware.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
