Location: Mineola, NY In-Office Position
Experience: Entry Level
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to insurance agents, including managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and organizing paperwork.
- Assist with the processing of insurance policies, including reviewing applications, verifying policy information, and generating policy documents.
- Interact with clients and provide customer service support, answering inquiries, addressing customer concerns, and assisting with policy-related questions.
- Assist with preparing ID cards, Certificates of Insurance, Acord Applications, binders, and cancellations.
- Assist with insurance claims processing, including collecting relevant information, coordinating with adjusters, and assisting clients with claim forms and documentation.
- Conduct research and analysis on insurance products, market trends, and competitor information to support insurance agents in making informed recommendations.
- Maintain and update software systems used for client information, policies, and claims. Handle documentation and record-keeping tasks, including organizing and maintaining policy files, correspondence, and other important documents.
- Assist with ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies and prepare documentation for audits or regulatory reviews.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth office operations and provide support as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- College Degree required (Ex: BA, BS, etc.)
- Knowledge of insurance principles and policies (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using office software and databases.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Hindi/Spanish speaking applicant preferred
Compensation: $60-65K per year
