Marketing Director Role
As the Marketing Director, you will collaborate with the CEO and Executive Leadership team to spearhead our marketing efforts, combining strategy, creativity, and data-driven insights to promote the Grimes & Company brand and enhance our client experience. You will lead a diverse range of marketing activities, from social media and content creation to event planning and media relations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Create, implement, lead, track, and analyze comprehensive marketing efforts in conjunction with Compliance policies
- Content Management and Marketing Materials: Lead coordination and manage publication of all internal and external content including collateral, newsletters, blogs, reports, and other materials. Continuously refine and update marketing deliverables including pitchbooks and performance reports
- Client Engagement: Oversee and analyze annual client survey process. Administer email marketing systems and coordinate regular email campaigns to clients and prospects
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate regular internal team newsletters and manage team updates, celebrations, events, and awards
- Event Coordination: Organize and coordinate webinars, seminars, and company events to enhance client and team engagement
- Digital Marketing: Drive social media and website content strategy, ensuring optimal engagement and brand consistency across channels. Coordinate overall social media efforts for the firm
- Media and Public Relations: Coordinate media appearances, including television and print interviews, to elevate Grimes brand visibility. Represent the company at trade shows and conferences, always portraying a positive image of the company
- Competitive Research: Research and analyze competitors’ offerings, branding, and marketing strategies to identify primary competitors and key opportunities for differentiation
- Innovative Tools and Analytics: Leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance marketing efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor and analyze website traffic, search engine optimization (SEO) performance, and campaign outcomes to maximize impact
Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Experience: Minimum five years of experience in marketing, preferably in financial services or similar industry
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with a talent for relationship building
- Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; willingness to assist other departments with projects
- Organizational Excellence: Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in marketing tools, email marketing systems, and analytics platforms; familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
