MICOBIOLOGY LABORATORY ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR
(TUESDAY – SATURDAY, 3:30 PM – 12:30 AM)
LOCATION: ARVIN- CALIFORNIA

In this role you will also be responsible for documenting sampling process and input lab results, maintaining incoming sample paperwork and work on transcription of written microbial results to appropriate spreadsheets. The Microbiology Laboratory Assistant Supervisor is considered a mid-level position in Microbiology and lab leadership. What you will need:
- High School diploma or associate degree
- Some background knowledge or experience of working in a lab, preferably microbiology lab.
- Computer skills and ability to utilize standard Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Must have strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.
- Must be able to distinguish differences in color, with or without accommodation.
- Ability to read and interpret procedures, safety information, operating and maintenance instructions.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
- Ability to work daily overtime.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish.
- Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen.

- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Self-starter and ability to track and maintain project process independently.
- Ability to maintain high quality standards with minimal supervision and to bring urgent matters to the attention to proper personnel for immediate resolution.
- Strong planning and organizational skills and proactive work initiative to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Benefits
Total Rewards: $20.00 - $25.00 / Hour
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
