What you will need:
- Computer knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Ability to travel out of Kern County area throughout the week, when necessary.
- Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must work in the Coachella area for approximately four months out of the year during entire winter harvest season. (Housing or housing allowance is provided by the company).
- No vacations (PTO) will be allowed during this time and excessive unexcused absences will result in either end of assignment or transfer back to Lamont.
- A valid Driver’s License with a clean DMV driving record.
What will set you aprt:
- College degree in Biology, Food Science, or related field/farming knowledge/experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills needed, along with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Must possess the ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish.
- Pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.
