Grinder, Taber & Grinder, Inc. is a full-service commercial and industrial construction firm in the Greater Memphis area. The firm is in its sixth decade of continuous operation and boasts an impressive portfolio of award-winning projects. We have a reputation in the Memphis area for being able to execute unique requests and challenging builds.
Our team consists of highly dependable and talented individuals. We value integrity, honesty, and dedication. Most employees remain with Grinder, Taber, & Grinder for at least 5 years and some have been with our firm for over 40 years.
WE ARE A MEMPHIS-BASED COMPANY, BUT EXPANDING OUR OPERATIONS INTO THE NASHVILLE MARKET. THIS ROLE WILL BE IN NASHVILLE, TN AND WE WILL NOT EXPECT YOU TO RELOCATE TO MEMPHIS.

- In-depth knowledge of local, state and federal construction regulations
- Prior experience as a construction superintendent

Superintendent’s Responsibilities Will Include:
- Management of field operations of assigned projects
- Management of multiple subcontractors and trades
- Monitoring daily updates from project managers, and subcontractors
- Driving project completion with scheduling and quality in mind
- Ensuring overall compliance with OSHA and Safety requirements
- Maintaining a positive work environment for employees, subcontractors, and clients
Your Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. An Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical), Building Construction, or Architecture degree is a plus
- 3 years or more of commercial construction field experience
- 3 years or more of direct supervisory experience
- Current or previous experience in a Superintendent role is REQUIRED
- Valid driver’s license is REQUIRED
- Ability to pass background and drug screening is REQUIRED
