Job Overview
We are seeking high energy, outgoing & prompt individuals to join our team. Experience in coffee is a bonus, but not required as we do offer on the job training. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of specialty coffees and drinks. Handle retail merchandise sales & service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee drinks such as espresso, cappuccinos, and lattes
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area
- Handle food preparation tasks including simple snacks
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons in a friendly manner
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure quality control of products
Skills
- Experience in the coffee or food service industry is preferred but necessary
- Able to learn and operate POS software
- Strong sales skills to promote products and upsell items
- Proficient in food handling and preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
-If you have a vehicle capable of towing a loaded 3500 lb trailer and able to pull a trailer would be a plus, but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
