What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Analyst, Ad Operations position at Grindr?
This is a hybrid role based in our Los Angeles office and will require you to be in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
What's so interesting about this role?
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our AdOps team to support our programmatic advertising operations and revenue initiatives. This role will be pivotal in managing the day-to-day operations with programmatic ad vendors, providing in-depth reporting on key metrics, and proactively identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth. Strong organizational skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are essential. Additionally, the role will support broader operational or compliance initiatives as needed.
What's the job?
- Vendor Management :
- Manage and maintain relationships with mobile ad tech partners (Applovin, Google, Meta, etc.) to ensure smooth operation and optimal ad performance
- Review key performance metrics for each ad tech partner and identify any issues or areas for improvement
- Reporting & Analysis :
- Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports covering key metrics such as revenue, impressions, CPM, fill rates, ad requests, and more
- Analyze data trends to provide actionable insights that drive performance improvements
- Maintain dashboards for internal stakeholders to track key ad performance metrics via collaboration with the data engineering team
- Operational Support :
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, finance and other teams to optimize programmatic ad operations
- Monitor the health of ad inventories and assist in resolving ad supply concerns by partnering with product and engineering
- Assist in ensuring compliance with operational processes, including SOX requirements and other internal auditing standards when needed

This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will also be eligible for equity, benefits, and a company bonus program.
