Job Summary
We are a private practice optometry office looking for a new addition to our team. We are looking for a friendly, motivated, organized and professional person who has excellent communication skills to join our time.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities include patient scheduling and communication, insurance verification, contact lens ordering and stocking. We will provide training for all areas but willingness to learn is important. Daily job responsibilities will be to checking patients in and out, answering phones, and scheduling appointments using Revolution EHR. We will also cross train you to help in the optical. It is important to work as a team so sometimes other tasks may be assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
We would love someone who has worked in the eye care field or medical field before but it is not required as long as you are open to learning new skills. Optical experience is a huge plus. We also would prefer someone with receptionist/secretarial experience but, again, not required.
This position will be full time: Monday through Friday. Monday and Thursday 8am-4:30pm Tuesday and Wednesday 8am-6pm and Fridays 8am-12pm.
Benefits: Paid sick and vacation time after 3 months employment. No health insurance is provided. Simple IRA with employer match after 1 year of employment.
