Location: Griswold Home Care for Greater Newport Beach – 2152 Dupont Dr Suite 275, Irvine, CA 92612
Pay: $21–$25 per hour Bonus Opportunities
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with occasional remote weekend availability as needed to cover for a colleague

Key Responsibilities:

• Scheduling & Coordination: Assign caregivers to clients based on availability, skills, and location while ensuring continuity of care.
• Recruitment & Onboarding: Actively recruit, interview, and onboard qualified caregivers to build and maintain a strong team.
• Emergency Coverage: Respond quickly to last-minute call-outs, ensuring all shifts are covered.
• Caregiver & Client Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for caregivers and clients, ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction.
• Fill-in as a Caregiver (Occasionally): If no replacement is available for a caregiver call-out and canceling the shift would cause a hardship for the family, you may be required to step in and provide care.

• Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented: Comfortable managing multiple schedules, tracking caregiver availability, and problem-solving under pressure.
• Decisive & Proactive: Able to take initiative, think quickly, and resolve scheduling challenges with confidence.
• Compassionate & Relationship-Driven: Builds trust with caregivers and families, ensuring a positive experience for all.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience in home care scheduling, caregiver recruitment, or a similar fast-paced role
• Strong ability to multitask, problem-solve, and prioritize under pressure
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with scheduling software (e.g., ClearCare, WellSky, or similar) is a plus
• Ability to step in as a registered caregiver in emergency situations when no replacement is available
• Availability for occasional remote weekend work if needed to cover for a colleague
