What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live- In Caregivers needed in Spartanburg/Greenville areas position at Griswold Home Care for Greenville & Spartanburg?
Griswold Home Care of Greenville and Spartanburg is hiring Live-in Caregivers. As a Live-in Caregiver you can work a minimum of 4 days (no less) and up to 7 days or more. A live-in caregiver receives room and board plus a daily rate of pay. There are other qualifiers that a client must meet for them to qualify for Live-in care. These qualifiers have been established by the Department of Labor.
As a Live-in Caregiver, you will provide vital support to seniors who need assistance in various areas (ADL’s: Activities of Daily Living and IADL’s: Instrumental Activities of Daily Living), including:
- Transportation: Helping clients with errands, shopping, medical appointments, and lunch outings.
- Meal Preparation: Preparing nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Companionship: Engaging in meaningful conversations and activities to enhance emotional well-being.
- Light Housekeeping: Assisting with household chores to keep living spaces comfortably.
- Personal Care Needs: Supporting clients with ambulation, bathing, toileting, and other personal care activities.
- Medication Reminders: Ensuring our clients take their medications on time and as prescribed.
