Description of the role:
Griswold Home Care for Metrowest Boston is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as CNAs - HHAs-Companions. In this role, you will provide direct care and companionship to clients in the Metrowest-Boston area.. Your main responsibility will be to promote the overall well-being and independence of our clients through various activities and personal care assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental condition
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
Requirements:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is preferred; but experience as a Companion is also important
- Prior experience in caregiving, preferably in a home care setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
