Griswold Home Care is seeking exceptional CNA/PCA/HHA/Companions who want to make a difference in the lives of others as a compassionate provider of care! URGENTLY HIRING . A typical day for you includes supporting the individual with their personal needs by providing companionship, reducing loneliness, assist with bathing, continence/incontinence care, verbal cue’s if memory challenges are present, transporting or running errands, and helping the individual with healthy nutrition. Your goal is to provide for their safety and to help them live as independently as possible in their own home. Our team is here to support you in this mission and provide you with the referrals for clients.

CNA/PCA/HHA/Companion Qualifications our clients are looking for:

• 1 year(s) of experience caring for elders.
• CNA/PCA certification preferred but not required.
• A strong passion for people and caring for their needs.
• Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Be able to score 80% or higher on our Competency Exam.
• A minimum of 2 recent professional references.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation and/or a valid driver’s license if required by the client.

• Asheville, NC
• Brevard, NC
• Hendersonville, NC
• Waynesville, NC
• Weaverville, NC

• Being supported by the GHC team as you work in the trenches. We know how challenging it is in this field. Staff in the office have and do work with elders in our community.
• Pay ranges from $15-$19 per hour (determined by the client). Paid weekly through direct deposit.
• Choose your referred client based on your own schedule/lifestyle and preferences. We will let you know upfront what care a client is going to need.
• Choose your shift; Days, Evenings, Overnights, and Weekends.
• Referral Programs: Additional opportunities to make money if your qualified referral makes it to the interview, passes the screening requirements, and is placed on a case through our registry.
• Access to earn your PCA certification training and ongoing educational resources provided through a third-party vendor.

• Day shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• On call
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: On the road

Salary : $15 - $19
