Administrative Assistant Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as a key point of contact between the Administrators, Coordinator team, and fellow colleagues. This role is vital in ensuring the daily operations run smoothly, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality service and care. As an advocate and informational resource, you will help support our care teams, clients, their families, and the broader community.
Primary responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, addressing client and caregiver inquiries.
- Maintain and update client and caregiver records, ensuring accuracy in spreadsheets and our software systems.
- Log client and caregiver activity, tracking schedules, updates, and changes within software system.
- Resolve issues or concerns promptly, addressing both client and caregiver needs to ensure satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the quality of care and increase service hours when applicable.
- Support the scheduling and coordination of caregiver assignments and client needs.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, caregivers, and other stake holders.
- Passionate about providing quality care, especially for seniors.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to remain patient and calm under pressure.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc) and comfortable using various software systems.
- Knowledge of the senior care field is preferred, but not required.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
- Ability to work in person (Broomfield) Monday-Friday 8a-5p with a 1-hour lunch break.
- Ability to be on-call (at home) 2 holidays per year.
Salary: $20-$21 per hour.
