Construction & Maintenance Leader

Summary:

Grit Oil & Gas II, LLC is looking for a Construction & Maintenance Leader to manage Grit construction, maintenance, I&E, inventory/yard personnel and associated contract crews while working with Facilities, Production, Operations, Measurement, and Automation teams. This role is responsible for managing construction and maintenance activities, driving efficiency, ensuring safety compliance, and leading I&E crews while collaborating with engineering and operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, project management, and cost control experience. This role will report to the Facilities Engineering Manager in Houston but will be based out of the Carrizo Springs Office.

Responsibilities:

• Manage key process metrics to promote maintenance and construction efficiency
• Assist with cost estimates for maintenance and facility AFE projects; track, monitor, and optimize associated costs
• Collaborate with engineering on equipment layout and piping design
• Coordinate field efforts of all construction, maintenance, and I&E crews, driving efficiency with a holistic view of activities
• Provide field oversight to ensure operational compliance with HSE rules and regulations, working closely with HSE team
• Oversee foremen and crews in the field and provide project guidance & coordination from start to finish
• Oversee survey crews for pipeline and pad staking and other3^rd party pipeline contractors

Requirements:

• All candidates must be Permanent Residents or US Citizens to be considered
• High school degree or GED is preferred
• Experience in oil & gas field operations including facilities, production, pad construction, and managing contractors
• Ability to manage several projects at one time including field personnel & 3^rd party contractors
• Knowledge of piping specifications and installation practices in production facilities
• Basic knowledge of liquid and gas measurement, oilfield automation and SCADA systems
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision. Self-starter with the ability to communicate well

Preferred Experience:

• Compressor & pipeline installations
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive results, and mentor team members
• Demonstrated ability to manage and track project costs, timelines and allocate resources appropriately
• Background in production operations
