Lead Dismantling Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow written procedures utilizing required tools defined by process documentation.
- Dismantle medium and heavy-duty trucks and assemblies to marketable part number levels.
- Cleaning, inspecting, and testing individual parts for resale in accordance with written procedures.
- Repairing trucks and/or parts as necessary to obtain dismantling flow volumes.
- Recording and maintaining required documentation
- Follow training plans and activities as assigned and directed.
- Possess a strong understanding of the use of various cutting and welding equipment.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized work area.
Lead Dismantling Technician Skills and Responsibilities:

- Strong communication skills
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Possesses strong technical/functional expertise.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of basic heavy duty truck repairs and services.
- Ability to stand for 6-9 hours.
- Capable of lifting to 50lbs
- Associate’s degree in automotive/diesel repair or related experience
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications preferred.
