What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bricklayer/Mason position at Grit Services, LLC?
Responsibilities: Deliver brick/block masonry expertise on commercial projects, both interior and exterior surfaces. Includes removal and replacement of brick or stone. Represent company and collaborate with customers. Ability to work at various heights using scaffolding. Commercial/industrial sector.
Requirements: Required 8 years’ masonry experience on commercial projects. MUST be able to read prints. Driver’s license is required with reliable. transportation to travel to and from job sites. Grit Services is a drug-free workplace, must pass a pre-hire drug screen.
Work Environment: Must be able to physically able to navigate construction sites. Physical activities include but not limited to climbing, lifting, digging, balancing, walking, and handling materials and tools. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Work environments will be project dependent. Projects could include indoor or outdoor work sites, loud noises, enclosed spaces, high heights, and seasonal temperatures.
