Key Responsibilities:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties:
- Provide basic nursing care to patients, including assistance with activities of daily living.
- Support nursing staff in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety, adhering to Gritman Medical Center’s philosophy and standards.
- Communicate effectively with the patient care team, reporting patient outcomes as appropriate.

Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) Duties:
- Handle clerical tasks, such as answering phones, taking messages, transcribing physician orders, and entering them into the computer system.
- Prepare and maintain patient medical records and manage office supplies for the unit.
- Collaborate with the professional patient care staff, communicating relevant patient findings and care orders.
Job Requirements:
- Education:
- Completion of an approved nursing assistant course.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Current Idaho Nursing Assistant certification in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
