Seasonal Delivery Driver

Gritt’s Midway Greenhouse is currently looking for energetic individuals to fill multiple Seasonal Delivery Driver Positions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base. We will provide ride along training to the right person who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to perform this job. • We need experienced drivers that can handle a 26 ft box truck with a lift gate.
• Class D license as a minimum with a valid DOT health certification.
• Pre-Employment Drug Test required & participation in random testing pool.
• 40 hours per week during the season (from late March through early June). Some Saturday deliveries will be required.
• Overtime paid on hours worked over 40.
• Must be able to use the lift gate to safely unload full carts of plants.
• Ability to work long hours on any given day (but adhere to DOT requirements). If a set quitting time each day is important, then this job is not for you.
• Bonus Paid on Successful completion of job term
