Grizzly Industrial Group is looking for a Materials Coordinator to join our team in the Enid/Medford Oklahoma area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supply chain, support personnel, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse. Knowledge of purchasing, mechanical and piping materials is a must. This position requires an individual who is organized, self motivated, detail-oriented, with the ability to operate a forklift, lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to pass a background check, have a clear driving record, and pass a DOT drug/alcohol test. The materials coordinator must also have excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions. Computer skills required to complete inventory and check the status of deliveries and shipments. Bilingual is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate with supervisors about any issues or concerns.
- Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks
- Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete / redundant materials to maximize availability of working capital
- Receive, unpack, count, inspect, identify, and store materials, tools and equipment
- Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company procedure
- Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders; processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders; reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, pipe yards or other areas
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
- Mark materials, tools and equipment using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools or other labeling equipment
- Issue or distribute materials, products, parts based on information from incoming requisitions
- Maintain records on the use or damage of stock or stock-handling equipment
- Maintain records to maintain inventory control, cost containment and to assure proper stock levels
- Review information data from contracts, purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents to assess supply needs
- Confer with purchasing personnel and vendors regarding stock procurement and availability
- Maintain housekeeping duties within storerooms, warehouses, and shipping/receiving areas
