Opportunity to work for a mission-oriented Specialty Pharmacy company assisting patients with behavioral health conditions, intellectual and substance use with their health journey. This opening is for a seasoned Sales Executive, with a background in Central Nervous System (CNS) Specialty Pharmacy for Long-Acting Injectables (LAI), that has worked with providers in the Washington DC territory to both help the company grow as well as help patients they serve thru personalized Pharmacy Care.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing the Sales operations and strategies for the company in the assigned territory. By researching market trends and conducting competitor analysis, you will develop and implement sales growth strategies focused on the dual-eligible population.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years CNS Specialty Pharmacy Sales experience in the Washington DC market
- Minimum of 5 years sales hunter experience in the specialty pharmacy, or mental health space, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong understanding of the specialty pharmacy market, District of Columbia public health, including payer dynamics, community health networks, pharmaceutical distribution channels and public health outpatient clinic procurement process
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to travel as needed to meet business objectives
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field. MBA or advanced degree a plus
Core Functions
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve an exceed revenue targets and business objectives starting in the MD and VA markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare organizations, clinics, pharmaceutical companies, and payer groups
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical services, pharmacy operations, and marketing, to align sales strategies with company goals
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and professional associations to enhance brand visibility and business development efforts
