The cleaning specialist will be responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment. This position requires a strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all designated areas, including hallways, offices, restrooms, and common spaces.
- Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and baseboards.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenishing supplies (soap, toilet paper, paper towels).
- Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.
- Replenish cleaning supplies as necessary and report inventory levels to supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ensure that all areas are free of debris and maintain a tidy, organized work environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Perform occasional deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and contribute to a positive team environment.
