What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Material Support - Wire & Cable Focus position at GROB Systems, Inc.?
The primary functions are to support our growth with planning, scheduling and requisitioning material related to wire and cable material . This position requires strong organizational and communication skills. A knowledge of industrial machinery is helpful, as communicating with engineering and production teams often occurs. This role will work alongside and coordinate with other team members to ensure that all applicable material to build our equipment is available when needed.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Coordinate with suppliers for the construction of custom-made cables for our equipment
- Requisition and maintain bulk wire and cable for in-house usage
- Utilize SAP for creating requisitions and managing stock of material
- Interface with Purchasing department for order adjustments
- Support production and engineering teams with their material requests
Education & Experience Requirements :
Other relevant education or experience will be considered.
