What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabricator position at Groe Advisors LLC?
Job Description:
- Dress or alter metal surfaces, and perform miscellaneous shop duties as required
Essential Duties:
- Grind, drill, bend, punch, roll, out, saw, route, or sand metal surfaces using hand-held power tools and sanding pads/paper
- Assist in the fabrication of non-standard parts and pieces.
- Perform housekeeping activities to keep shop area and equipment clean and organized
- Perform miscellaneous shop duties as required
Qualifications:
- Equipment Used: May include any of the following power tools: router or grinder. A variety of common hand tools are also used (tape measure, center punch, square, cleaning equipment). Forming machines, rolls, punch, shear, saws drills and overhead crane may be used.
- Knowledge/Skills: Very basic blueprint reading (referencing only) and tape measure reading, inch/metric.
- Education/Experience: No special educational roquirements.
- Previous industrial experience in a similar capacity is preferred.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
