What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saw Cutter position at Groe Advisors LLC?
JOB PURPOSES
Dress or alter metal surfaces, and perform miscellaneous shop duties as required
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties may be assigned):
- Grind, drill, bend, punch, roll, out, saw, route, or sand metal surfaces using hand-held power tools and sanding pads/paper
- Assist in the fabrication of non-standard parts and pieces.
- Perform housekeeping activities to keep shop area and equipment clean and organized
- Perform miscellaneous shop duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Equipment Used: Varies with assignment. May include any of the following power tools: router or grinder. A variety of common hand tools are also used (tape measure, center punch, square, cleaning equipment). Forming machines, rolls, punch, shear, saws drills and overhead crane may be used.
- Certificates, licenses, and registrations: None
- Knowledge/Skills: Very basic blueprint reading (referencing only) and tape measure reading, inch/metric.
- Education/Experience: No special educational requirements.
- Previous industrial experience in a similar capacity is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
