What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Technician (2nd shift) position at Groe Advisors LLC?
This person will be expected to handle the following tasks:
- Conduct High Voltage Electrical Tests of completed shipping assemblies in accordance with standard procedures and/or special non-standard instructions Operate and check P.D. measuring instrumentation
- Operation of SF6 gas handling systems and careful use of sensitive SF6 leak detectors
- Conduct routine mechanical and configuration inspection of final assemblies at test in accordance with work instructions and as specified by drawings
- Check Quality Assurance records pertinent to the work, including nonconformance report initiation and distribution Maintain log and records of all tests performed Assist in the maintenance of test equipment and ensure equipment being used is in calibration Maintain clean, neat and orderly work areas
Requirements:
Minimum High School diploma and some technical schooling preferred Various Computer programs, i.e.; Mtronics, Lotus Notes, Excel
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
