Groen Concrete Construction Foreman
We are looking for an energetic, hardworking, and motivated Concrete Construction Foreman to lead a skilled concrete form installation crew. Providing exceptional value to our commercial and residential customers, this role involves managing workflow, ensuring safety best practices, and coordinating materials and equipment with the Project Manager/Site Supervisor.
Ideal Concrete Construction Foreman Candidate:
- Strong team leadership skills and significant experience leading a construction crew
- Significant experience forming and placing concrete.
- Strong knowledge of jobsite conditions and safety
- Effective communication and time management skills
- Ability to delegate tasks and meet project deadlines
- Experience reading construction drawings and specifications
- Skilled in tracking labor and equipment hours
- Motivated to learn and develop additional skills
- Able to pass pre-employment screening (background check, MVR, and drug screen)
Concrete Construction Foreman Responsibilities:
- Lead and work with a 4-8 person ICF crew on commercial and residential job sites
- Coordinate materials and equipment with project manager
- Ensure safety protocols
- Operate jobsite equipment (telehandler, skid steer, manlift, power tools)
- Layout and install footings, forms, rebar, penetrations, and concrete
- Perform wood framing for floors, walls, roofs, and stairs
- Install and flash exterior windows and doors
- Additional duties as required
Concrete Construction Foreman Qualifications:
- 5 years of concrete construction experience required
- 2 years of foreman or lead carpenter experience required
- 5 years of experience in concrete forming and placement. Wood framing experience a benefit.
