Job Overview :

Groen Construction is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Construction Operations to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects. This is a senior executive role requiring strategic leadership, operational excellence, and hands-on involvement throughout all phases of the construction process.

Responsibilities :

Develop and execute project management strategies aligned with company goals.

Lead all phases of construction projects, from preconstruction planning to final delivery.

Standardize tools and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Oversee project budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

Manage workforce allocation and recruit, mentor, and retain top talent.

Cultivate client relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Drive the integration of advanced construction technologies and sustainable practices.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements as needed.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

10 years of experience in commercial construction, including 8 years in senior leadership.

Expertise in managing complex construction projects from start to finish.

Strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management experience.

Advanced proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).

Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
