This position plans, organizes, directs and coordinates terminal activities to achieve assigned terminal and regional goals and objectives while maintaining corporate standards.
Hiring Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Oversees activities across assigned terminals and manages costs to ensure profitable performance including but not limited to non-revenue pay, contracts, and managed services.
- Drives and guides strategy through leading initiatives that support operational and expense management through standardization of people, processes, and technology.
- Assists PC directors in network optimization across assigned terminal groups.
- Works with Sales Department on business needs and business on-boarding
- Monitor, oversee, coordinate, and coach driver managers in assigned locations.
- Develop continuous improvement opportunities and take ownership of Business Review accountabilities.
- Responsible for incident investigation focused on quick identification of the root cause, as well as finding, reporting, dispositioning and/or resolving the issue in a timely manner.
- Understands Company strategy and direction
- Ensures collaboration with the Region Director in order to timely and efficiently staff the operational and administrative functions of their assigned terminals.
- Maintain Company’s positive reputation within the industry/community by participating in professional affiliations at the state and local levels.
- Builds key strategic alliances with Executive Staff, Department Heads, and RD’s/SVP’s to ensure assigned terminals are in compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures as well as with federal, state and local requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position is responsible for direct supervision of Driver Managers and other terminal staff in assigned locations.

Education and Experience Requirements
- College Degree
- 10 years of experience in transportation related industry
Computer Equipment and Software Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Systems
