Traveling Lead Solar Panel Installer

Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and secure solar panel components
- Follow schematics and blueprints to ensure proper installation
- Perform electrical wiring and connect solar panels to the electrical system
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot any issues with the solar panel system
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently and safely
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Experience:
- Previous experience in solar panel installation is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in solar installation
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring principles
- Ability to work at heights and on rooftops safely
- Understanding of high voltage and low voltage systems

Skills:
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for construction purposes
- Experience operating a forklift for material handling
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring and connections
- Familiarity with roof construction and mounting techniques for solar panels
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during installation
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate placement of solar panels

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
