Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.
System Administrator, Senior Job Description :
Our systems administration teams play a vital role in ensuring that our vast IT infrastructure is working cohesively so that our engineering departments have all the bandwidth they need to develop the next generation, mission critical systems that our customers depend on us for. Our team of Staff level Systems Administrators play a leading role in this effort. They provide technical and operational support for the operation and administration of the Labs Infrastructure. Specifically, they focus on thin / thick-clients, domain servers and databases.
System Administrator, Senior Required Tasks :
- Experience Performing Backups.
- Creating, updating and reviewing documentation.
- Configuration management services.
- System patching.
- Monitoring and maintaining overall systems security and health.
- Documenting setup and install / maintenance processes and procedures.
- System diagnosis.
- Troubleshooting and repair.
- Tech refresh and upgrades; technical meetings; maintaining, configuring and updating baseline configurations as per RMF / DFARS requirements.
- Maintaining weekly virus engine and pattern file updates.
- Performing tactical systems support.
- Preparing for and supporting security assessments.
