Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.
Technical Writer II Job Description:
The Technical Writer candidate needs to have experience developing, modifying, and reviewing Naval shipboard technical documentation and U.S. Navy Technical Manuals.
Technical Writer II Required Tasks:
- Experience should include editing and reviewing technical materials in support of maintenance, repair, testing, product improvement, and/or alteration of Naval Ship HM&E and Electronic/Weapons Handling Systems and Equipment.
- The candidate may be required to work NNPI on-site at a Government facility.
Technical Writer II Additional Requirements:
- High school, trade, industrial school, or GED equivalent, seven (7) years of experience.
- Must be able to obtain and keep a DoD Secret Clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Proactive/self-starter. Task driven with ability to work independently.
- Team player that takes ownership and develops relationships with the team members which fosters team success.
Job Location: Manassas, VA; Norfolk, VA or Remote (Relocation Assistance Available)
