We are seeking a skilled Supervisor / Mechanic to oversee daily operations while also performing hands-on mechanical tasks. This dual-role position requires leadership abilities alongside strong technical skills to ensure the efficient functioning of our mechanical systems and a productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Supervision :
Oversee daily operations and workflow within the mechanical department.
Lead and mentor a team of mechanics, providing guidance and support.
Schedule and assign tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate training for staff development.
Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Mechanical Duties :
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on various mechanical systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively and efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of parts.
Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical technology.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications preferred.
Proven experience in mechanical repair and maintenance.
Prior supervisory experience in a mechanical or industrial environment is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical conditions.
Prolonged standing, bending, and climbing as needed.
