Job summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operations of a Campus Shuttle location and for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set for the Campus Operations Department.
Responsibilities
- Review applicants daily
- Complete interviews
- Ensure location is staffed
- Verify payroll
- Work with maintenance team to ensure all vehicles are properly maintained
- GPS Tracking - ensure tracking systems are working properly
- Manage Drug Testing - random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, pre-employment
- Monitor buses on campus – both by using GPS and direct observation of service
- Maintain client relationship
- Attend customer meetings as required
- Emails, calls and text messages – respond in a timely manner
- Customer Complaints, respond and log
- Reports as required
- Client requests – re-routing, additional units requested, investigation of incidents
- Train staff (drivers, supervisors, admin)

Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
Software experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook and other Internet applications
Must pass pre-employment drug test
Complete pre-employment background check
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
