Overview
The Irrigation Service Manager (ISM) is responsible for scheduling and directing personnel and resources to deliver high-quality, cost-effective irrigation services to clients. ISMs also assist the office staff with estimating, design, and client meetings as necessary. In addition, ISMs will sell irrigation services to clients. The ISM will oversee a team of Irrigation Technicians and maintain direct communication with them. This role includes training and developing these technicians, as well as providing daily operational scheduling and guidance.

Duties

  • Sales and Marketing to continue growth in our service department
  • Engage in regular communication with office staff to understand client needs.
  • Learn how to de-escalate and resolve customer concerns effectively.
  • Manage all irrigation services, coordinating necessary materials, personnel, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure quality work.
  • Inspect properties prior to scheduled services to create tailored action plans.
  • Monitor all aspects of the irrigation system after installation and services, identifying any issues that arise.
  • When necessary, assist crews on-site to meet work and scheduling demands.
  • Collaborate with the owners to identify staffing needs, hire new crew members, and create daily crew schedules.
  • Communicate with, counsel, train, discipline, evaluate, and develop growth plans for employees. - Provide hands-on training and support to crew members, covering proper equipment operation, pruning techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Maintain and manage all necessary administrative systems, including time sheets, job databases, and service schedules.
  • Order materials as needed and monitor associated costs and deliveries.
  • Request purchase orders and utilize them in accordance with company guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
