We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Inventory Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in managing vehicle inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting dealership operations.
Job Summary:
The Automotive Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining and updating vehicle inventory records, processing paperwork, and coordinating with various departments to ensure a seamless inventory management process. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and maintain vehicle inventory records in dealership management systems.
- Process new and used vehicle invoices, registrations, and other required documentation.
- Ensure all vehicle titles, stickers, and registration documents are correctly filed and up to date.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and work with sales and accounting teams to resolve any issues.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing vehicle inventory, ensuring all units are properly documented.
- Assist with inventory audits to verify accuracy in records.
- Coordinate with the sales and service departments regarding vehicle status and availability.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal inventory regulations.
- Support other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Automotive Inventory Clerk or in a related administrative role preferred.
- Knowledge of dealership management software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and uphold dealership standards.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
