Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and providing top-notch grooming services for pets.
Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, and styling pets according to breed standards and customer preferences
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process
- Trim nails, clean ears, and provide other basic grooming services
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their specific requests and preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
- Monitor pets for any health issues or abnormalities and report them to the appropriate staff
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Pet Groomer or in a related role is required
- Knowledge of different breeds, grooming techniques, and pet behavior
- Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician
- Background in Pet Care, Pet Sitting, or Animal Care
- Familiarity with Dog Handling techniques
- Knowledge of Kennel operations
