Job Description
The Maintenance Technician performs basic maintenance operations on customers’ vehicles, including, but not limited to: engine oil and filter changes; brake, power steering, differential, and transfer case fluid services; tire repair and replacements; tire balancing; and brake pad replacement services. For every service, a multi-point inspection is performed, and any items needing immediate or future attention are documented for the customer.
The ideal candidate has an Associate's degree in Automotive Technology or Trade School Certification and some experience. An unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record and the physical dexterity and stamina to get the job done are required. Candidates must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service.
Responsibilities
- Performs basic maintenance operations
- Performs thorough multi-point inspections
- Records accurate brake and tire measurements
- Maintains a clean work area
- Delivers customers’ cars in better condition than when they arrived
- Reports any safety or efficiency concerns to management
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Automotive Technology or Trade School Certification desired
- Valid driver's license
- Available to work Monday through Saturday
- Dedicated to excellence
